Project: Exomars
A cinematic 3D narrative crafted for Armaku’s ExoMars sample pack — a surreal, rhythmic journey across the red planet through sound, light, and exploration.
Motion Design
Background
After our successful collaboration on Project: New Horizons, Armaku returned with an even more ambitious idea: a fictional Mars mission inspired by the real-life ExoMars program, blending sci-fi visuals with deep house rhythm. Their goal was to create an atmospheric launch video for a new sample pack — and they wanted it to feel like a full-blown space mission.
Background
We brought this world to life from scratch. Starting with research and storyboarding, we modeled Martian terrains, built a custom launch site, designed the rover, shuttle, and landing capsule — all while locking in a narrative arc that slowly built tension and mystery. From the launch sequence and capsule separation, to a rhythmic anomaly detection and night rover discovery — everything was designed to immerse viewers in a photorealistic yet dreamlike story, grounded in cinematic detail.

Business Development Director, Armaku
"Working with Moonkraft Studio has been one of the most creatively fulfilling collaborations I’ve had. We’ve partnered on two major projects - Project: New Horizons and Project: ExoMars and both have turned into standout successes for our brand. What I value most is their growth-oriented mindset. With each project, the team has leveled up, listening carefully, evolving their craft, and pushing the visual bar higher. The final results have not only brought our creative visions to life but have also generated genuine excitement within our audience. Moonkraft care about the outcome. They take feedback in stride, they’re deeply collaborative, and they’re passionate about making something truly great. I’m proud of what we’ve built together so far and excited for what comes next."
Final Notes
This project pushed us technically and creatively. We learned how to balance mood and realism, pace a sci-fi storyline without voiceovers, and build modular scenes for future content cuts. It also solidified our creative partnership with Armaku — proving that high-quality, immersive storytelling can be built entirely through design, motion, and music.
